We remembered this place from a visit 5 years ago and it did not disappoint. On a quiet Tuesday evening pintos were great as was wine selection and VFM. Difficult to understand some of the less enthusiastic reviews??

Had the set lunch menu. You get a appetiser, main and dessert with water for 14.90Euros in a cosy chic setting. Honestly a very decent fair priced in the middle of Bilbao. The food is nicely presented and is flavorful with good portion. Service is fast and friendly.

Las Cepas jatetxea is (IMHO) the best pintxo’s bar and restaurant. Their pintxo’s are just fantastic. A delicious taste and a heavenly optic.

Really good pintxos. Very good service. We had eaten here on a previous trip and were delighted to find it again. Definitely recommend a visit here for food. Menu looked amazing but we weren’t very hungry. The entire place is so clean. We weren’t very amazed at the attention to detail from the staff when they were cleaning up. Well done.

We visited this place on Sunday evening without reservation. We liked the food (it was ok, on Sunday evening we were satisfied and happy to have dinner here), the interior is very pleasant (big windows, high ceiling, a lot of fresh air). The personnel is very helpful and friendly, especially Maria

We had a earlyish dinner for the Spanish (8pm on a Monday) and were the only people in the dinning side of the restaurant. Service was ok. The food was really nice. We had monkfish, squid ink rice and pork all delicious. The French toast for dessert was a bit sickly but still tasty.
